One of our most exciting current projects is BioGaia, a Swedish healthcare company, and a leading global producer of innovative probiotic products for the whole family. BioGaia ProTectis, contains a patented bacterium; promotes immunity and maintains natural balance in the digestive system. BioGaia ProTectis Baby, proven safe and effective for children, provides digestive comfort and is a miracle for colic.

David E. R. Dangoor

David Dangoor is president of Innoventive Partners LLC, New York, providing consulting services in the fields of strategic planning, marketing and public relations. His leadership in these fields is grounded in C-suite positions he has held in preeminent corporations and institutions in the U.S. and around the world.
 
He is currently chairman of the board and a founding investor of BioGaia AB, Stockholm, Sweden, a leading public bio-tech company that develops and markets superior probiotic food supplements and concepts targeting immune defense, oral health, and more.

David is a member of the board of The Feinstein Institute for Medical Research, home to acclaimed international scientists in fields including cancer, Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s disease, human genetics, and bio-electronic medicine. The Feinstein Institute ranks in the top sixth percentile of all National Institutes of Health (NIH) grants awarded to research centers.
 
In the not-for-profit arena, David is currently on the board of New York City Ballet, and was on the board of directors of the Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM) from 2013–1016. He is a member of the board of governors of the Berlin School of Creative Leadership at Steinbeis-University, Berlin, Germany. And he is also a board member of both the American Scandinavian Foundation (ASF), and the Swedish-American Chamber of Commerce, where he served as chairman from 1997–2001.
 
David was honorary (acting) consul general for Sweden in the greater New York area from 2010–2015.
 
David is a member of the board and president of the American Sephardi Federation, a partner organization of the Center for Jewish History, New York, where he is also on the board. He serves on the board of ISEF (Israel Scholarship Education Foundation).
 
David was a board member of Lifetime Brands, Inc., New York (2007–2016), a public company that is a leading manufacturer of nationally-branded consumer products including KitchenAid and Farberware. He served on the board of Lorillard Inc., Greensboro, North Carolina, the public tobacco company, from 2008 to 2015 when the company was sold. David was also a member of the Advisory Board of the Denihan Hospitality Group, New York (2006–2015), a privately-held hospitality company including the Affinia and James lifestyle hotels and the luxury Benjamin and Surrey hotels.
 
In 2002, David retired from Philip Morris/Altria Group where he held senior executive positions in several countries over the course of 27 years.  He joined PM in Lausanne, Switzerland in 1976, and later served at highest management levels in Germany, the UK, Canada, and New York headquarters in its tobacco and soft drink businesses.
 
He was a director of Rothman’s, Benson & Hedges Inc., Toronto (1987–2002); and a director of AMER Sports International, Montreal, Canada (1984–1987), a subsidiary of the Finnish company. He was also a board member of ICP Solar Technologies, Inc., Montreal (2007–2010), a public company that develops and manufactures solar cells and related building materials.
 
David was also a member of the board and executive committee of the Brearley School in New York (2007–2013); and a member of the board of the American Friends of the Karolinska Institute in Sweden, one of the leading medical research institutions in the world.
 
David grew up in Stockholm, Sweden, where he concluded his studies with a Civilekonom (MBA) degree at the Stockholm School of Economics in 1973.  He lives in New York City with his wife and family.
